These Terms of Use govern the use of the website operated by the Association of Oncologists of Uzbekistan (“AOUZ,” “we,” the “Association”). By using the site, the user is given the opportunity to review these terms.
1. General provisions
These terms apply to the official AOUZ website, the membership application process, and related online services. Where a separate rule or agreement exists for a particular service, it may set out additional arrangements for that service.
This text may be published as a draft prior to final legal approval and may be updated through the CMS.
2. Purpose of the site
The AOUZ website is the Association’s official information and professional community platform. Materials on the site are provided to inform, to support membership processes, and to report on events, educational opportunities, and publications.
Materials on the site do not replace individual medical advice. Medical decisions should only be made in consultation with a qualified specialist.
3. User account
Certain services may require a user account. The user is responsible for the accuracy and confidentiality of their account information.
If unauthorized use of an account is detected, the Association may restrict access to or suspend the account. The user must notify the Association of any suspicious activity.
4. Registration and submitting a membership application
When submitting a membership application, the user must provide the required information accurately and in full. Before submitting an application, reviewing the Privacy Policy and these Terms of Use, and giving the relevant consent, is mandatory.
An application without the consent checkbox marked will not be accepted. Consent to a newsletter is separate from, and independent of, consent given with a membership application.
5. Review of applications
Applications are reviewed in the manner established by the Association. The outcome of review may be approval, a request for additional information, or rejection.
Submitting an application does not automatically guarantee membership. The decision is made in accordance with the Association’s internal regulations.
6. Membership and Member ID
Once membership is confirmed, the user may be assigned a Member ID and a membership status. Membership rights and benefits depend on the selected plan, internal rules, and current procedures.
The Member ID is used as a personal identifier; transferring it to others or misusing it is prohibited.
7. Term of membership
The term of membership is determined according to the selected plan and approved conditions. Once the term expires, certain benefits may be restricted or suspended.
Information about the term and status may be shown in the user’s member cabinet or in official notifications.
8. Renewing membership
Membership renewal is carried out under the current procedure and available plans. The ability to renew is not always guaranteed.
Renewal may require a new application, payment, or additional confirmation.
9. Payments
Payment terms, amounts, and methods are determined by the approved plans and a separately published procedure. A payment provider (for example, CLICK) is enabled only with separate, confirmed authorization.
For inactive payment channels, the current status shown on the site takes precedence. Issues involving incorrect payments or refunds are reviewed under the applicable procedure.
10. User obligations
The user must:
- use the site lawfully and in good faith;
- not submit false, misleading, or harmful information;
- not infringe the rights of third parties;
- refrain from actions that compromise the security of the system;
- use their account and Member ID responsibly.
11. Intellectual property
The text, design, logo, media, and other materials on the site belong to AOUZ or the relevant rights holders. Copying, distributing, or commercially reusing them without written permission is prohibited, except as permitted by law.
12. External links
The site may contain links to other organizations or external resources. AOUZ is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or security of third-party sites.
13. Availability of the service
AOUZ strives to keep the site and its services running reliably, but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation without interruptions. Temporary restrictions may occur due to maintenance, updates, or security requirements.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, AOUZ limits its liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site. The site is provided “as is.”
The Association is not liable for the consequences of inaccurate information provided by a user.
15. Changes to these terms
AOUZ may update these Terms of Use. The current version is published on the site. Additional notice may be given of material changes.
This document may be updated through the CMS; the version and review status are stored in the page’s metadata fields.
16. Governing law
These terms are interpreted and applied in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, unless mandatory rules provide otherwise.
17. Contact
For questions relating to these Terms of Use, use the Association’s official contact details. The address, phone number, and email are taken from the site’s approved contact settings and are shown below.
