Preparatory Online Course for the EBSQ Exam on Surgical Oncology

An international faculty chaired by Professor Ibrahim Edhemovic and Professor Sergio Sandrucci will present this ESSO preparatory webinar for the EBSQ Examination on Surgical Oncology on Wednesday 21st October, 17:00 - 19:10 CET and Thursday 22nd October 2020 17:00 - 19:00 CET.

The aim of this course is to help participants to get familiar with the oral part of the EBSQ Examination on Surgical Oncology.

The program will focus on the following tracks concerned by this examination: colorectal/peritoneal surface malignancies, hepatobiliary, sarcoma, breast, melanoma/endocrine and upper GI. At each of the six topics one clinical case and one academic paper will be presented. Each interactive surgical oncology clinical case scenario will be discussed enabling candidates to evaluate and improve their diagnostic and management skills. In addition, academic papers will be discussed to help the candidates to read and understand scientific writing. Both clinical cases and academic papers form the core of the oral exam.

Ideal webinar candidates: Surgical Oncologists planning to take the examination within the 2 coming years.

Participation and Registration fees: an application has been made to the EACCME for CME accreditation of this event. To cover the costs of accreditation there is a small fee payable to participate, 50€ for ESSO members and 60€ for non ESSO Members.
