The aim of this 1-hour webinar is to describe trends and recent advancements in the treatment of thyroid cancer in general with special regards to (long term) outcome after either active surveillance for microcarcinoma or forbearing completion thyroidectomy for T2 thyroid carcinoma.

After this webinar participants will have insight in the pro’s and con’s of de-escalation of surgical therapy and will be able to discuss arguments with their patients in the process of shared decision making.
