The Republican specialized scientific and practical medical center of oncology and radiology expresses its condolences on occasion of death of Nematov Odiljon Nizomiddinovich to his relatives.

On August 7 this year, an outstanding oncologist of Uzbekistan, one of the phthisiatricians and thoracic surgeons, Nematov Odiljon Nizomiddinovich died after a serious disease. Today, another loss among our colleagues plunged us into a deep sorrow. Our colleague Odiljon Nematov perished. 

Having graduated from the Master’s Degree course in 2005, in order to further develop his speciality, Odiljon Nematov at first worked as a doctor in Tashkent Region Oncological Dispensary. Later, until 2014, Odiljon Nematov worked at the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Oncology and Radiology as an abdominal surgeon and, thanks to his hard work, erudition, diligence and care for patients, was able to achieve respect among all the medical personnel of the center. He successfully introduced his scientific and practical knowledge into the oncological system of Uzbekistan, regularly improved his knowledge and skills.

Later, Odiljon continued his work at the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Phthisiology and Pulmonology as a thoracic surgeon and worked there until today. 

In a short time, Odiljon was a student of prominent scientists in this area. He was able to become a mature specialist and managed to train many followers.

Odiljon Nematov will forever remain in our memory as a loving family man, a person devoted to his friends, a loyal follower to his masters, a teacher demanding of students, a person caring for the sick people and moral agent.

Our friend, who lived a short but eventful life, managed to achieve much that one person could achieve, but we expected more victories from him.

We perceive the death of Odiljon Nematov as a great loss for family, friends, teachers and students, medicine of the country and our nation. The administration of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology and his colleagues express deep condolences to relatives and family members of Nematov Odiljon Nizomiddinovich on occasion of his death.
